An Analysis of Climate Change
Abstract
This article examines emerging research directions for addressing and evaluating the relationships between climate change and global warming from the socioeconomic context. Climate emergencies pose one of the most significant threats to our planet and present serious risks to future generations. Identifying scientific studies that contribute to combating and mitigating global warming is crucial. The research identifies key areas directly linked to global warming for future scientific investigation. This study employs a combination of quantitative and qualitative techniques, along with content analysis of the research articles. Keywords have been identified through Google Trends between 2004 and 2025 to pinpoint trending subjects related to the climate crisis. Articles that have undergone peer review and their references were sourced from the Google Scholar database and subsequently uploaded into VOSviewer for bibliometric analysis. Co-citation analysis was part of the methodology to monitor and identify the factors influencing the determinants. Lucidchart was used to create a visual diagram that illustrates the socioeconomic context, facilitating a better understanding of climate change. The article concluded with a discussion of the research’s limitations and justifications, providing a roadmap for future research and policy decisions aimed at preventing and mitigating climate change and global warming.
