Abstract
We explore case studies of prison theater programs that create healing comminities in the hostile environment of prison. We examine the impact of prison theater workshops based on the presenter’s experience facilitating theater workshops inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy in Sing Sing and other prison in Italy, Indonesia, and the United States.
