Abstract
This proposal focuses on the archives of the Connemara Conservancy, a 72-acre blackland prairie land trust near Dallas, TX. The Conservancy ran an artist residency from 1981-2002, which hosted ten artists each year. The artists made sculptures, land art, and experimental interventions into the landscape. This paper examines how a digital archive of the artist residency at Connemara can bring attention to ecological systems and environmental justice in a way that reaches beyond the immediate local environment of Dallas, TX.
