Abstract
This research project explores the role of leadership in promoting diversity and inclusion within the United States hotel industry. The study examines how leaders can effectively navigate and manage a diverse workforce by focusing on intercultural leadership. Through a case study featuring interviews with organizational leaders and employees, the research assesses the impact of leadership strategies on employee engagement, organizational culture, and overall productivity at a mid-sized chain hotel in a county in Virginia. The findings should provide practical insights for leaders fostering inclusive environments that value cultural differences, ultimately improving hotel performance and employee satisfaction.
