Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly present in the way digital content is produced and consumed, shaping cultural narratives and influencing identity and belonging in online communities. This workshop invites participants to critically and practically explore how AI tools can be used to promote inclusion and diversity in social media communication. Through short exercises, participants will generate sample posts with AI, analyze the results, and reflect on how algorithmic systems may reproduce or challenge stereotypes. The objective is to combine professional practice and collective discussion to identify strategies that align with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions). The relevance of this workshop lies in its capacity to connect digital literacy with diversity education, providing participants with concrete insights into how AI can become an ally for inclusive communication in organizations, communities, and nations. The expected outcome is a collaborative set of recommendations on how to design social media narratives that reflect respect, equity, and cultural belonging in the digital age.
