Abstract
The scientific study comprehensively analyzes the psychological characteristics of stress tolerance of school teachers. The results of the research show that the professional duties of school teachers are associated with solving thousands of complex problems affecting the psychological and mental health of students. In the process of solving these tasks, there is no doubt that teachers face situations that cause various stresses, mental and physical overloads. Under the influence of excessive mental and physical stress, teachers can develop various neuropsychiatric disorders, manifested by high levels of anxiety, emotional burnout, aggression, violation of moral norms and deterioration of interpersonal relationships with others. An empirical study was conducted on 50 subjects using diagnostic methods that determine the level of stress tolerance of school teachers. Using mathematical statistical methods, the research data were obtained as follows. A statistical difference of 0.01 significance level was found between employees with more than five years of experience and less than five years with personal stress, organizational stress and situational anxiety. The levels of personal and organizational stress and reactive anxiety among teachers with more than five years of experience were significantly higher than among new teachers. The intermediate conclusion of the study: it can be concluded that the stress level of teachers in the school community increases over time, and emotionally oriented coping behavior increases.
