Abstract
This workshop will focus on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the high school classroom. The presenters will share their experiences incorporating AI into educational settings. They will engage participants in a conversation about AI and their views and experiences with using AI to enhance teaching and learning in high school while maintaining control of their teaching. The presenters will discuss ways to leverage the strengths of both artificial intelligence and human intelligence. They will demonstrate helpful AI tools that could be incorporated into high school instructional practice to generate curriculum, differentiate and adapt instruction, and assess students’ work. Multiple handouts will be shared with the audience with key takeaways and practical resources.
