Abstract
The Rohingya is a Muslim minority ethnic community living in the Rakhine state of Myanmar. This paper analyses the Rohingya Humanitarian crisis who have been persecuted systematically and became stateless after enacted the 1982 Citizenship Law of Myanmar. Because of the Rohingya citizenship deprivation, Myanmar adopted discriminatory policies, resulting in widespread human rights violations, and more than a million sought refuge in the neighboring country of Bangladesh. This research critically examines the reactions of International Leaders to treating and resolving the Rohingya Humanitarian crisis. This paper contributes to the expanding human rights and international law area by contextualizing the Rohingya issue within broader discourses on statelessness.
