Introducing Math Ideas to Young People as an Important Step toward Reducing Math Anxiety in Society

Abstract

Introducing math ideas to young people is an important step toward reducing math anxiety in society. I present my books for children in which fundamental math topics are discussed in an attractive and entertaining manner. They introduce children easily and naturally to many notions and concepts of arithmetic, algebra, geometry and topology. Children also would learn a great deal of math terminology, phraseology, and notations in these books. Books make it clear for children that math is interesting and engaging meanwhile preparing them better for math classes.
