Abstract
This workshop presents the design and implementation of “60 Play Together!”, a multisensory, gamified card game developed to promote cognitive and sensory stimulation in older adults. Rooted in psychological principles of cognitive aging and neuroplasticity, the game incorporates playful activities that engage four primary sensory channels (visual, auditory, olfactory, and tactile) while targeting cognitive domains such as memory, language, attention, and executive functions. The game is structured as a series of interactive, team-based challenges that encourage social engagement and cooperation among older adult participants. Each card prompts an activity that combines cognitive tasks with sensory exploration, fostering a dynamic learning environment that promotes well-being, autonomy, and mental agility. In this hands-on workshop, participants will be introduced to the conceptual framework underlying the game, its development process, and key components. The session will include a live demonstration of selected activities, highlighting how gamified strategies can make cognitive interventions more enjoyable, inclusive, and effective in community and clinical settings. By the end of the workshop, attendees will be equipped with practical ideas to design or adapt cognitively stimulating activities using low-cost, accessible tools and multisensory approaches.
