Abstract
In a world of shifting demographics and social transformation, aging is no longer a linear process but a multidimensional experience of growth, purpose, and renewal. This presentation by JoAnne Ewing explores the emotional and spiritual dimensions of aging—focusing on how resilience, adaptability, and connection shape well-being throughout later life stages. Drawing from over 15 years as a holistic wellness facilitator and teacher, JoAnne presents a human-centered approach to aging that integrates emotional healing and community connection. Her framework emphasizes how individuals can navigate change with grace, reclaim inner peace, and contribute meaningfully to family and society at any age. This practice-based session situates aging within the context of emotional empowerment and intergenerational support, bridging personal experience with social awareness. By acknowledging aging as both an internal and collective transformation, participants gain insight into how emotional intelligence, empathy, and spiritual grounding foster inclusion and vitality in an evolving demographic landscape.
