Abstract
This study analyzes the impact of financial performance on the performance of football clubs in the English Premier League (EPL) from the 2016/2017 to 2022/2023 seasons. The research is motivated by the importance of effective financial management in supporting a club’s success. The method used is quantitative research with multiple linear regression analysis. The data used is secondary data obtained from financial reports. The dependent variable in this study is club performance, while the independent variables include profitability ratios (ROA and ROE), liquidity (CR), and leverage (DER). The results show that ROA and CR have a significant positive effect on club performance, while ROE and DER do not have a significant impact. This study enriches the literature on financial management in the EPL and recommends that clubs pay attention to financial ratios to improve performance.
