Abstract
Burnout is not just a personal challenge—it is a critical workplace health issue that affects performance, engagement, and long-term retention. In high-demand environments, the pressure to perform can drain energy, creativity, and clarity, creating a cycle that quietly erodes both individual and organizational well-being. In this session, Serban Mare—former engineering program manager turned workplace resilience strategist—shares a research-backed framework that blends science, storytelling, and actionable tools to help participants reframe stress, prevent burnout, and sustain energy over the long term. Attendees will learn to recognize early signs of burnout, understand the role of psychological safety in team performance, and apply simple daily practices to recharge and restore focus. Participants will leave with practical resources, including a burnout early-warning checklist and a daily energy reset plan, that can be applied immediately in their workplaces. This session is designed for professionals, leaders, and wellness advocates who want to create cultures where people can thrive while meeting the demands of modern work.
