Abstract
This study examines the impact of H.R. 1 on access to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services, with a particular focus on Black Americans. The purpose of the research is to understand how changes in Medicaid and Medicare financing affect access to contraception, prenatal care, maternal health services, and preventive reproductive care. Using an interpretative approach, the study analyzes policy provisions, projected coverage losses, and service disruptions, while applying a health equity and reproductive justice framework to assess disproportionate impacts on marginalized communities.
