Abstract
This case study presents the Cápsula do Tempo do Museu Histórico de Sapucaia do Sul 2050 – Memórias de 2025 project (Time Capsule of the Historical Museum of Sapucaia do Sul 2050 – Memories of 2025), recognized as the only museological artifact of this category currently exposed to the public in Brazil. The study discusses its relevance to the fields of museology, creative economy, and cultural tourism, analyzing its potential as an instrument for the preservation of social memory and as an activator of contemporary cultural experiences.
