Abstract

En esta introducción del Volumen 10, Número 1 de la Revista Internacional de la Imagen, la autora Claritza Arlenet Peña Zerpa explora el diálogo entre la mirada y lo mirado, destacando la relación activa, creativa y transformadora entre las imágenes y las personas espectadoras. Se abordan temas como el diseño inclusivo en la comunicación visual, el videoarte feminista, la integración cultural a través del mosaico, la representación bélica y la imaginación escultórica, todos ellos desde perspectivas epistemológicas, artísticas y sociales. Igualmente, se subraya la importancia de reflexionar sobre el papel de las imágenes en la educación y la sociedad, y se invita a decidir conscientemente cómo utilizarlas y con qué propósito, promoviendo una mirada crítica y responsable ante el poder de lo visual.
