Abstract
In an era where artificial intelligence is reshaping how we live, work, and learn, higher education must rise to the challenge of integrating AI with intention, ensuring that students are not only technologically prepared but also ethically grounded and equitably supported. This interactive workshop invites educators across disciplines to explore how AI can be embedded into teaching and learning in ways that prioritize student agency, inclusivity, and real-world relevance. Rather than treating AI as an isolated subject or technical add-on, this session presents AI as a transformative pedagogical tool that can foster creativity, critical thinking, and career readiness. Participants will explore how to design assignments, classroom activities, and assessments that incorporate AI tools such as generative writing applications, media production platforms, career planning systems, and data analysis tools, while engaging students in conversations about ethics, bias, authorship, and digital responsibility. This hands-on session includes collaborative brainstorming, guided planning time, and access to adaptable instructional materials. Case studies and outcome data will demonstrate how AI integration can enhance student engagement and learning across disciplines, particularly for underrepresented and first-generation learners. Whether participants are new to AI or looking to deepen their implementation, they will leave with a toolkit of strategies and resources to create human-centered, ethical, and effective AI-enhanced learning environments tailored to their own courses and student populations.
