Abstract
The aim of this study is to encourage discussion about Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICT) in the teaching-learning process of Portuguese as Foreign Language in Professional and Technological Education. Therefore, this study presents a bibliographic review, starting with a brief contextualization on the path of inclusion of digital technologies in the teaching-learning process. In a second moment, an overview about the use of technologies in language learning process is presented, ending with an explanation about integration and interdisciplinarity in Professional and Technological Education (Educação Profissional Tecnológica - EPT). Finally, the study presents the result of an empirical research using master and doctorate students ‘narratives about there experience learning Portuguese online while they are studying at Instituto Federal Goiano. In conclusion, the study demonstrates that the use of technology as an educational resource for teaching Portuguese as foreign language, especially to foreign master and doctorate students to enhance the interdisciplinary teaching-learning process in the EPT, being a positive factor for the student’s inclusion in their experience in Goiás - Brazil.
