My research interests explore the therapeutic functions of mixed modal participatory arts practices, ranging from dances abilitiy to navigate parental distress following premature birth, to exploring the place of radical acts of performance making within arts for health. My PhD, 'Dissolving Boarders: the integration of wriitng into a movement practice', demonstrates how principles of non-stylised environmental movement improvisation can be applied to the act of writing to enhance articulation and asslimiation of the lived expereince.
