Hello,

My name is Natalya. I am from New Zealand but I have lived in the UAE with my family for the past 16 years. I taught English in several countries before I returned to New Zealand. I didn't teach for many years but returned to teaching when I joined Zayed University foundation program. I enjoy using educational technology in my classroom when it supports teaching and learning for my students. As an academic writing teacher, Gen AI has become a tedious issue, yet I strive to support its use effectively for learning. In recent course development, we use multimodal assessments. My reason for taking this course is to get a good foundation of understanding about the topic beyond my own readings. I'm looking forward to learning here and applying new knowledge and concepts in my teaching.
