Facing the Global Crisis Together: Cultural Assemblies by Culture Declares Emergency

Abstract

Culture Declares Emergency (CDE) is a hub of individuals and organisations that share knowledge and support to work towards regenerative change and provide care through culture, heritage and the arts. With nodes in several countries all around the world (from the UK and Spain to Australia), it fosters a community of professionals (declarers) who strongly believe that the cultural sector has an important role to play in the global social and ecological crisis. The main tool CDE uses to educate and to bring professionals to take action is cultural assemblies. In this workshop, we will host a mini-assembly in which the audience will be invited to participate.
