Ubiquitous Learning and Instructional Technologies MOOC’s Updates
Enhancing Collaboration through Mobile Learning in Philippine Classrooms
An example of social learning supported by ubiquitous learning devices in the Philippines is the use of mobile phones and tablets in collaborative online discussions through platforms like Google Classroom or Messenger group chats. These tools allow students to share ideas, exchange feedback, and work on group tasks beyond classroom walls, promoting continuous peer-to-peer learning. As a future educational leader, I see how this practice fosters inclusivity and active participation, especially for learners in remote areas who rely on mobile connectivity as their main access to education. However, it also highlights the need for equitable access to devices and reliable internet, reminding leaders to advocate for digital inclusion so every learner can benefit from technology-enhanced social learning.
