New Learning MOOC’s Updates
Google Classroom as Neutral
Google Classroom is a flexible platform that supports a wide range of teaching and learning styles. It becomes didactic when the focus is on transmitting knowledge, often through text, slides, and quizzes. It becomes authentic when students engage in real-world, problem-based, or project-based learning via the platform. And it becomes transformative when teachers use feedback, reflection journals, and discussion forums to encourage critical self-awareness and social consciousness.
@everyone: Google classroom is neutral. Educational approaches depends to the teacher's purpose of using it.

Google Classroom can be a great supplement to traditional teaching methods, but it shouldn't replace hands-on experiences, face-to-face discussions, and other non-digital learning opportunities.
I really like how you broke down the different ways Google Classroom can be used, it’s so true that the platform itself isn’t what defines the learning, but how it’s used. Your point about it becoming transformative through feedback and reflection really stood out to me. It’s a good reminder that digital tools can go beyond just delivering content they can actually help build deeper thinking and awareness when used with intention.
