New Learning MOOC’s Updates
The Never-Ending Changes in Education
I was once a little kid quietly seated on the chair in a traditional classroom. I still remember the first time I learned what recess meant when I was a kindergarten student. We were always waiting for the teacher's instruction not because we didn't have initiative but because that was we were told to do. Until I graduated primary, there wasn't much changes the way teachers taught us, instead it was when technology was slowly emerging in the school system.
The life in secondary school was a mixed of didactic and authentic pedagogies. I started to love the subject I hated in my primary years, the Mathematics. I began to becoming an active and was reciting here and there. I was appreciated by my teacher very well. Then out of nowhere it became my most fave subject before English. The pedagogy had evolved because we were already part of the discussion and I loved it. Still, we had a very small encounter with technology in the classroom because of the school's lack of budget. Overall, I had enjoyed and learned a lot in my high school years.
Finally, college life was different. Instructors were most of the time the facilitators in the class except the subjects that need teachers' demonstrations like Math and Chemistry. The of technology as well had completely become our buddy because of research works and simulations. I appreciate and loved every change that has happened thoughout the years. Each season left great lesson in our lives and made us even better students and persons that we are today.
