New Learning MOOC’s Updates
THE SCIENCE INVESTIGATORY PROJECT
For many years in teaching Science, one of the most interesting activities has been the Science Fair, where students exhibit the outputs of their investigations, -their Science Investigatory Project (SIPs). This is where learners apply all the concepts they have learned. It begins as a school-level contest and continues to higher levels, where both students and coaches compete.
As time goes by, researchers and coaches broaden their perspective on how to further improve their products and processes. Coaches develop their critical thinking skills as they guide learners. It can even become addictive for teacher, because, as an invistigators in the process ,it is deeply satisfying to be recognized as the winner.
That's a very good way of teaching and it really works! I teach music, and uses that kind of teaching aswell.
