I found this approach to learning to write useful and helpful because it narrows down the process on how you will write in the future. It is called The Process Approach to writing. This method of writing views itself as not a single act of finished product already instead it is a series of stage for example, “planning, drafting, revising, editing and publishing. Not only to focus on the final product, this focuses on the steps writers to go through to have their ideas improve and develop. In this approach, I learned how to share ideas and outline it before putting it on writing, I can easily draft comfortable without worrying about the mistakes, and then I will revise it based on the feedback from my classmates or teachers. All in all I like this process approach because this encourages metacognition, to think about my own ideas as a writer.
