Abstract

This article aims to study the correlation and the effect that remote work might have on the leadership style of management and the culture of companies. The article tackles the readiness of managers to shift their traditional mindset to accustom themselves to a more challenging shift from on-site to off-site work attendance. Furthermore, this article will try to study the influence of remote work on organizations’ core values and culture. To properly examine the aforementioned problem, interviews were conducted with managers and leaders to gather qualitative data to assess the situation. A sample of eight companies were selected for the study. The research problem was stated, some research questions were asked, and some hypotheses were tested. After carefully analyzing the gathered data, a clear conclusion was made that remote work has a significant effect on leadership style and company culture.
