I find it fascinating, in a personal experience I have discussed with a Nordic friend about how winter in her country modifies the thinking of food and energy conservation, as she is used to having three months of hard work before winter and then a season of rest, and in that season they dedicate themselves to reading, to have after-school classes. In Latin America we do not have a rest season that allows us to cultivate a learning habit like that, so our learning culture is very different.
