Thanks to Bill and Mary for helping us reflect on Gunther in a scholarly way. I got introduced to your work and the whole London Group through my late Professor Philippa Stein from University of Witwatersrand in South Africa. I am forever grateful to her for having exposed us to great scholars like you. Farewell to Gunther.
Mary and Bill, thank you for taking the time to post your reflections on the life and work of Gunther Kress. I am sorry to only now become familiar with his work, just as he leaves us. But, his contributions will continue to guide my studies and my work. Vale Gunther Kress.
Thank you. Great to see how life and scholarship go with each other for the benefit of all.
Thank you very much for sharing!
Thank you so much Mary and Bill.
Thank you both so much for this, Mary and Bill. Really great to know a bit more about how you and Kress started working together and how your work resonates in your life beyond academia. Kindest regards to you from Brasil. Cheers.
