New Learning MOOC’s Updates
Curriculum
In a curriculum characterized by the elements of mimesis, synthesis, and reflexivity, learning takes place as a dynamic process as learners first mimic the skills of expert models to establish their foundational skills. When owning their skills, they then go on to synthesise from different ideas and concepts to produce new meaning and learning. Reflexivity provokes learners to engage in continued self-reflection to evaluate their learning confidence and assumptions of learning. Together these elements support a cycle of observing, innovating, and self-aware critique as learners engage in deeper learning experiences and personal beiology. These elements situate learners in the position to become both a skilled practitioner and a reflective thinker.

@Patricia Nicole F. Enguerra Pnengurra,
I really like how you explained the cycle of mimesis, synthesis, and reflexivity. It shows that learning is not just about copying skills but also about creating new meaning and reflecting on our own growth. This process helps learners become both skilled and thoughtful, which I think is the real goal of education.
