Educational Counseling; Career Guidance
The most common issue that is happening, especially from SHS to college, is those who are unsure about their career choices. That is why I suggest providing career guidance and development for students. Many are unsure and not yet ready to choose what they really want, so they just choose anything or think it is easy. So the ending is that they are disappointed, and some others regret it because they are late to find out that their interests are really different. For this process, the school should provide any kind of assessments that will help students lead their future career choices.
Through career counseling, students will learn to identify and understand their strengths, set realistic goals, and explore different career options that will guide them to align themselves with a profession that has potential for them. This not only chooses the right career path but also boosts motivation and self-confidence. Effective career guidance helps students not only learn how to adapt themselves to a career but also learn how to lead themselves to the things they love and are destined for.
