Behaviorism: Learning is shaped by what we do or say, not by what we think.

Behaviorism is a perspective of learning that focuses on changes in individual's observable behaviors- changes in what people say or do rather than internal mental processes like thoughts or emotions. It is based on the idea that all behaviors are acquired through interaction with the environment, primarily through conditioning.

The Theory of B.F. Skinner is based upon the idea that learning is a function of change in overt behavior. Reinforcement is the key element in Skinner's Theory.
