As an educator, I have personally experienced recent changes in the nature of education through the implementation of the MATATAG Curriculum, which embodies the principles of transformative pedagogy. Unlike traditional approaches that focused heavily on content overload, the MATATAG Curriculum emphasizes essential competencies, values formation, and learner well-being. I have seen how this shift transforms the classroom into a space where students are not just passive receivers of information but active participants in meaningful learning.
