New Learning MOOC’s Updates
Traditional Learning - Didactic Pedagogy
Sometimes when I am teaching in class, I opt to use lecture method to discuss heavy concepts. There are times when students will enjoy collaborative learning but when the topic is too hard for them to even start collaborating ideas, teachers must intervene and teach them the basic knowledge.

I really appreciate how you acknowledged the balance between direct instruction and collaboration. It’s true that some concepts can be too heavy for students to tackle without a foundation, and the lecture method helps provide that structure. What I like is how you framed it not as “either/or” but as a matter of timing—teachers step in to build essential knowledge first, then let students engage in collaboration once they’re ready. That flexible approach really respects how students learn at different stages.
